Liaison® Travel Plus Covid-19 coverage outside your home country

Liaison® Travel Plus

Medical Travel Insurance for Coronavirus

The world has changed, and travel is different now. You need specialized travel insurance to protect you if you contract COVID-19 on an international trip. The Liaison® Travel Plus plan is designed to protect you in this new environment with a specialized benefit that covers medical expenses if you become ill with COVID-19 while traveling outside your home country.* In most cases, your home health insurance plan will not cover you when you travel abroad. That means you could be responsible for the bill if you need medical treatment while traveling. Also, medical providers in foreign countries may require you to pay them before they will treat you. Consider a Liaison Travel Plus plan to protect your health and your wallet. It follows you with comprehensive medical coverage, a specially designed COVID-19 medical benefit, an extensive network of providers, and 24-hour travel assistance. COVID-19 has profoundly affected the way we travel internationally, and the Liaison Travel Plus plan is designed to protect you in this new environment. It includes a benefit that covers medical expenses if you become ill with COVID-19, in addition to covering other illnesses and injuries that occur while traveling outside your home country.

This COVID-19 Treatment benefit covers up to $100,000* in medical expenses for COVID-19, SARS-Cov-2, and any mutation or variation of SARS-CoV-2. Coverage for other illnesses and injuries is provided up to the medical maximum you select when you buy the plan.

*The COVID-19 benefit is limited to $50,000 if you select a $50,000 medical maximum.

Liaison Travel Plus is available for travel outside your home country. For non-U.S. citizens, home country is the country where you have your permanent residence. For U.S. citizens, home country is always the United States.
