Safe Travels USA Comprehensive is one of the most popular comprehensive plans on the market that covers medical accident and sickness, emergency medical and political evacuation, repatriation of remains, trip interruption, baggage, and accidental death & dismemberment with up to $1,000,000 in emergency medical coverage. In addition, this plan is also unique as it offers a wellness visit benefit for a $125 co-pay. Safe Travels USA Comprehensive plan also offers Sudden and Acute Onset of a Pre-Existing Condition – For ages up to and including 69 the limit is up to the Medical Policy Maximum purchased per Policy Period except for any coverage related to cardiac disease or conditions, which will be limited to $25,000 up to and including age 69 and $15,000 for ages 70 and above. Upon attaining age 70 benefits will be reduced to a Medical Maximum of $25,000, with a $25,000 Maximum Lifetime Limit for Emergency Medical Evacuation. This plan uses the First Health PPO, a subsidiary of Aetna Insurance.

Both Safe Travels USA Comprehensive and Safe Travels USA have a $0 deductible in-network automatically. That means, if you go to a doctor or hospital in-network, you do not have to meet a deductible. These plans both use the First Health PPO network, a subsidiary of Aetna Insurance. The only co-pay on this plan is for Urgent Care which is a $30 Co-Pay. You will need to select a out-of-network deductible when purchasing either plan. The out-of-network deductible will need to be met if you got a provider outside of the network and for prescription drugs. All of the above will also be listed on your ID Card for reference.

When applying, for a Visitors Insurance plan, you will need to select the traveler’s travel dates, we recommend choosing these dates based on their arrival and departure date to include travel in transit to and from their home country. You will also need to provide their full name on their passport, date of birth, home country address, billing address and payment details to complete the application online. Once submitted, you will receive one email confirmation directly from Trawick International with your enrollment details where you can download your documents including ID Card, Certificate/Policy Wording and Visa Letter.
