Important information for renewal of a current Visitors Insurance Policy

1. Visitors Care Plan – The option exists for an online extension of 5 days to12 months. This can be extended to a maximum of 24 months under certain conditions.
2. Patriot Travel, VMP & Student plans can get an online extension of a minimum of 1 month. Platinum Patriot Travel Plan holders can get an extension up to 3 years.
3. A $5 fee is charged on every renewal application for Travel or Visitors Insurance plans.
4. Global Medical Insurance (GMI) – Requirements for eligibility as outlined in the plan must still be met in order to renew your GMI plan.
5. Renew your plan one day before expiry of such plan.
6. Once the policy expires, the option to renew said policy will be unavailable. Where a policy has expired, you can apply for a new policy and you will have to comply with all necessary requirements. Please have the following information ready when you re-apply

1. Current I.D. or certificate number ensuring that you enter the certificate number exactly as shown including dashes.
2. The primary insured's date of birth entered in the format mm/dd/yyyy.
3. Credit card details including credit card number, name of credit card holder, date of expiry and cvv number (cvv number is the last three numbers on the back of the card).
